Water hands are usually short, with an oval shape, but with long and flexible fingers. Their palm is wider than it is long and their finger is the same height as their palm.

People with water hands are soft-hearted and they always do less stressful things. They get very emotional and they get affected by little things.

• Fire hand​

Fire hands have a square or rectangular palm, flushed or pink skin, and shorter fingers. The length of the palm is usually greater than the length of the fingers.

People with fire hands are so full of energy. They like to get things done and they may become intolerant of anyone that's impeding activities. They're often agile and fierce and often make great leaders.

• The heart line​

From the heart line, you can find out about everything concerning love.

If your heart line begins from under your index finger, it means you're content with your love life. If it begins from under your middle finger, you're selfish in love. If it begins from the middle of your first finger and your middle finger, it means that you fall easily in love.

• The headline​

The headline shows your knowledge and intellectual capability. A curvy headline shows creativity and instinctiveness while a straight line shows practicality and structure.

A short headline means you'd rather overcome physical challenges than intellectual ones. A wavy headline shows that you easily lose concentration and attention while a long line shows that you think a lot to achieve results. A straight headline shows that you believe in reality.

If your headline doesn't link with your life line it means you care so much about adventures and little about their risks.
If you have a circle on your headline, it shows you're dealing with some emotional crisis of some sort. Multiple crosses on your headline signify that most of your achievements will be based on big decisions you'll have to take.

• The Lifeline​

The lifeline depicts destiny. With the lifeline, you can get information about your character and other significant happenings in your life. And there's this popular idea that the length of your lifeline determines your life span; that opinion is false.

Mounts​

Mount reading is another part of palmistry and it's not difficult to do. The mount is that spongy fleshy pad that's just under your fingers. To read the mount, you just need to check the height. Their heights are high, low and flat. You'll get the information you're looking for from how visible the mounts are. The mounts are similar to the seven classical planets in astrology: Apollo(the sun), Luna(the moon), Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

The inner Mars is situated just above the thumb and it can also be called lower Mars. It signifies strength.
